Complaints & Feedback

We want every patient to have a good experience with us. If something has gone wrong, or you are unhappy with any part of your care, please tell us. We treat every complaint fairly, in confidence, and as a chance to improve. Making a complaint will never affect the care you receive from us.

How to make a complaint

You can contact us in whichever way suits you:

Please make your complaint within six months of the event, or within six months of becoming aware of it. We can sometimes look at older complaints in exceptional circumstances.

You can complain for yourself, or on behalf of someone else with their written consent. A parent or guardian can complain for a child under 18. If you need help to make a complaint, for example because of a language need, a disability or communication difficulties, please let us know and we will support you.

What happens next

Stage 1 – We look into your complaint
We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and send you a full written response within 20 working days. If we need longer, we will explain why and keep you updated.

Stage 2 – Independent review

Pulse Private GP Care subscribes to the Private Healthcare Mediation scheme run by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), set up in collaboration with the Independent Sector Complaints Adjudication Service (ISCAS). If you are not satisfied with our response to your complaint, you can ask for free, independent telephone mediation; more information is available at www.cedr-assist.com.
